A chunky hat with earflaps, a garter stitch band knit back and forth, and a pointy body knit in the round and finished with i-cord.

Measure head circumference (around forehead-ears-neck) to determine size. A 22” head is an adult size.

Garter stitch in the band makes for a very elastic hat that will fit a child for years.
