Terlingua is a ribbed cowl in a unique shape. The ribbing moves right and left with a twist or two, or three. Enjoy the roller coaster ride! Yes, it is a very quick knit.

The unique shape lets you wear the cowl in several different ways.

Yarn:
Aran in main colour (Malabrigo worsted used)
DK of your choice in contrast colour

Yardage:
Approx. 250-350 yards in MC and 30 yards in CC
I used 250 yards, testers used more, FYI.

Gauge:
Varies – tight area 21 sts and 22 rows/ loose area 17 sts and 19 rows = 4”
19 sts and 20.5 rows in 4” in 2x2 ribs on average

Materials:
US #9 (5.5mm) 16” circular needles and longer, 1 DPN, stitch markers, tapestry needle

Size:
Neck opening 5.5” width, 22” from the tip of the collar to the bottom, 22” bottom width
