My Terra Shawl is finally published ❤️

I love this shawl so much, especially the fact that it’s SO QUICK to make, and you can adjust how small/big you want it to be.
It is a continuous repeat that you can keep making over and over until you run out of yarn.
My sample was made using only 2 skeins of DK (although every last bit of it was used!).
I named the pattern after the dyer, Terra, from Mitchell’s Creations. I couldn’t think of anything more beautiful for this earthy terracota colorway…

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Approx. 75¼ inches (188 cm) from side to side and 16¾ inches (42 cm) from top to bottom at deepest point (after blocking).

MATERIALS
2 skeins of Ca C’est Bon DK by Mitchell’s Creations (100% superwash merino; 231 yards 211 m/100g) or approx. 462 yards (422 m) of DK weight yarn. The sample was made using color Fawn.
Needles: US 8 (5 mm) needles.
Other notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers, a split ring st marker, blocking pins or wires.

GAUGE
13 st and 26 rows to 4” (10cm) in garter st on US 8 (5 mm) needles after blocking.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES
This shawl is worked from the center top down. Stitches are increased at each side on every other row to give it its characteristic crescent shape.
