The Teva Top is knit from the bottom up, featuring a lace leaf motif and shoulder and side ties for an adjustable, comfortable fit. A built-in underlayer provides bust coverage, giving you the confidence to wear the top without a bra.
Originally designed as a crop top sitting just below the waist, the pattern also includes instructions for a longer version.
Perfect for sunny days on its own or layered under a jacket.

PATTERN INFO

Level: The main part is quite easy, even for beginners. The underlayer requires a bit more focus. The pattern includes video tutorials for all techniques, so if something is new to you, you can pick it up easily.

Sizes: The pattern includes 3 sizes to fit bust measurements of:

  • 78-87 cm (31-34¼“)
  • 88-96 cm (34¾-37¾“)
  • 97-106 cm (38-41¾ “)

Each size is also available in two height ranges: 160-169 cm (5’3”-5’6”) and 170-180 cm (5’7”-5’11”).

Yarn:
For the Teva top, you will need two types of yarn:
for the main part yarn with a meterage of about 60–80 m (66–87 yds) per 50 g
for the underlayer yarn with a meterage of about 90–110 m (98–120 yds) per 50 g.

The top on the photos is knitted with Lamana Ica, 100% Cotton Pima, 50 g = 80 m (87 yds), color 0. For the underlayer was used Lamana Cosma, 60% Cotton, 40% Viscose, 50 g = 100 m (109 yds) in the same color 0.

Alternatives that will also work well for this pattern and allow you to use both yarns in the same shade:

  • Sandnes Garn Tykk line for the top, and Sandnes Garn Line for the underlayer.
  • Drops Paris for the top, and Drops Muskat for the underlayer.
  • Lana Grossa Natural Cotton for the top, and Landlust Baumwolle for the underlayer.
