YOU WILL NEED
Colour 1: 1 x 100g FLUFFY MOHAIR - undyed Chunky: 100m/100g, 88% Kid Mohair, 8.4% Wool, 3.6% Nylon
Colour 2: 1 x 100g Everything Coming Up Roses BLACK DK: 220m/100g, 100% Superwash Merino Wool
Colour 3: 2 x 50g CLOUD - undyed 4ply: 200m/100g, 70% Silk, 30% Brushed Merino (knits similar to sport weight yarn)
Colour 4: 1 x 100g FIZZ - Grey 4ply: 400m/100g, 90% Superwash Merino Wool, 10% Nylon
4.5mm needle and tapestry needle to sew-in threads
MITRE SQUARE KNITTING is a technique for creating a square by decreasing a rectangle in the middle of each right-side row. This creates a 45-degree angle that allows for interesting colour changes.
Work 3 mitred squares; add 3 more until you have created 30 squares/10 rows – or longer if desired. Any yarn can be used, the biggest contrast works best… you can of course go wild and use different textures, different yarn weights and colours.
