The Texture Top-Down brings texture and stripes together for a wonderfully simple yet engaging knit! Alternating garter and ribbed rounds, combined with alternating colors used for each texture, makes for a lovely fabric and interesting color play. I knit the Texture Top-Down up in Rico Design’s Lazy Hazy Summer Cotton yarn which has a tweedy effect and adds to the depth of color. The Texture Top-Down is a great beginner level design that is perfect for showing off tweedy or speckled yarns!

The Texture Top-Down is knit in the round, seamlessly, from the top down. The design has German short row shaping at the back of the neck. Increases are worked throughout the yoke. Sleeves sts are worked in the round after completing the body.
