I love textured stitches when I crochet. The Caron Cakes yarn is so lovely to crochet with and I use a slightly bigger hook than suggested to ease the post stitches and give the textured cowl a bit of drape. I don’t want the cowl to feel stiff against my neck. This pattern is a perfect way to use one ball of Caron Cakes yarn, but feel free to use any worsted weight yarn. The cowl is long and can be easily doubled up around your neck for warmth.

The texture is achieved by repeating the same pattern of stitches throughout, but shifting one spot to the left on each round.
