Knitting blankets, for babies or throws, is a wonderful soothing use of time. Simple shapes and colour stories are very pleasing, however it can be fun to bring a little creative flair to the mix. With this design series, I wanted to create recipes that can be adapted, modified and personalised. I hope you enjoy them!

Introducing a new yarn from The Woven, Sumptuous. She is a beauty. With the ability to knit across a variety of needle sizes, gives you the option to open up this design on bigger needles for a larger blanket – or gauge down to smaller needles and make a smaller blanket.

This pattern is suitable for beginners heading up the skills chart, those comfortable with knit, purl, cast on and off, and happy counting stitches and following a pattern.
