All of the bedsox were knitted in 8ply (DK) yarns. One 50gm ball of 100% wool will knit the baby and toddler sizes. You will need 2 balls for the children’s sizes and 3 for the 2 largest sizes.

1 ball of 100 gm acrylic 8 ply (DK) yarn will be plenty for one pair in the larger sizes.

You will need a pair of 3.25 mm knitting needles, and a pair of 4 mm knitting needles, plus a spare 4 mm knitting needle to help with the foot shaping. You will also need a cable needle and a wool needle to sew the seams.

GENERAL NOTE ~

The ribbed ankle section is an easy fit for comfort. If you would like a tighter fit for the ankle, or if your tension is loose, please use 3.25 mm knitting needles instead of 4 mm needles for the rib edge. If you would like a higher ankle coverage, simply add a few more rows to the rib instructions.
