A cozy accessory, this triangular shawl begins with a few stitches and grows outward in much the same way a tree grows from a narrow trunk to a wide canopy of lush leaves. The body of the shawl is textured, mimicking bark on a tree, while the broad edge includes a swath of lace to serve as leaves. A great way to play with color, I recommend using one solid color and one variegated or self-striping color. Please note: this pattern is designed to use nearly all of the recommended yarns so, if you add rows, you may need to purchase additional yarn.
