This cable sampler wrap is a great opportunity to either go stash busting on your favorite yarn, or use scraps that are left from other projects - or even try new yarns and using these charted sections as swatches for testing the new yarn.
The wrap is knitted in several sections which are then seamed together, or in some cases, you are picking up stitches and continuing the wrap seamlessly with a perpendicular new design.

Materials:

800g wool of your choice in bulky / chunky weight ( roughly 100g / 100m, 6-8 wpi) in
5 different colors (or more, but you will need at least 3 contrasting colors for the
Fair Isle sections)
6mm straight needles, cable needle
Blunt needle for weaving loose ends and sewing pieces together
