Katie Mansfield BSC (Hons) RVN is a Registered Veterinary Nurse working for the PDSA, the largest veterinary charity in the UK. Every year, the dedicated teams at our 48 Pet Hospitals work tirelessly to provide 2.7 million veterinary treatments – including 440,000 preventative treatments. This helps over 470,000 much-loved pets and brings peace of mind to 300,000 owners. PDSA does not receive any government funding.

Inspired by the NHS Thank You Teddy, the PDSA Thank You Buddies incorporate the Fighting Spirit of 2020 and demonstrate how PDSA Veterinary Surgeons, Veterinary Nurses and Veterinary Care Assistants are heroes by continuing to come to work every day to care for animal patients during the Coronavirus Lockdown.
