This knitting pattern is of a traditional Thanksgiving / Halloween Pumpkin which is embellished with a stalk and hand embroidered leaves and face. (or without a face for Thanksgiving)

These pumpkins are favour covers for Lindt Lindor or Ferrero Rocher size chocolates. How cute would they look dotted about at your Halloween party? Make one for each of your guests or for those special Trick or Treaters that you just know will be passing by! For Thanksgiving, make one for each of your guests as a table setting gift. Image their surprise as they take their seats!

My pattern gives you easy to follow instructions to knit the pumpkin covers/cozies and includes a colour chart to guide you with hand embroidering the leaves and face. In addition, there is a large color picture of a finished pumpkin cosy for your reference. The stalk is made using a crochet hook to make a few chains.
