That Basic Raglan Sweater is a top-down sweater with raglan construction, back neck shaping (optional), three quarter length sleeves (optional), and instructions available for a cardigan version with pockets (optional), Make your sweater striped like the sample or completely solid. Available in 9 inclusive sizes worn with 0-2” 0-5 cm of positive ease. I originally created a free tutorial for the pullover version of this sweater years ago and have decided to really give this a good clean up and turn the That Basic Raglan into a proper pattern. The original pullover tutorial is still available for free, but if you’re wanting a more in-depth pattern, then please consider purchasing this thoroughly tested and edited design. The sweater samples are made in collaboration with Chelsea Yarns and Ichanchup Fibers, with exclusive kits available come October 2025.
