The Acacia Cowl is a wonderfully textured cowl that could be worn in any season depending on the yarn fiber used to work it up. It got its name from the acacia flower, 1 type of which looks like a small ball, though typically white or yellow.

This pattern that is more suitable for intermediate or advanced level crocheters due to the stitches used within the pattern. It is written in US crochet terms and worked in the round from the bottom up.

You should have some experience with the strawberry stitch and crossed DC stitch. These are both explained in the pattern if you are unfamiliar.

As written, you should use about half a 100g skein of fingering weight yarn. The yarn shown was dyed by myself and similar ones are available in my Etsy shop (Knottyblissboutique.etsy.com)
