The Alice Socks by Yarn Over Floyd

Crochet socks are comfy and cozy and work up super quickly! These top-down beauties start with an easy ribbing and finish with a quick, customizable ankle and foot length. You can make these for anyone in your family, but make sure you get a set first!

This pattern was inspired by the use of custom spun yarn by my fiber friend, Amy, at Follow Your Arrow Farm. She raises Gotland sheep for their wool and breeds them each year for their gentle, quirky personalities, and gorgeous locks.

Notes:
-This pattern is written in US terms and Imperial measurements.
-Sock is worked from the top-down, starting from the ribbing which is worked horizontally.
-Decrease: hdc2tog and sc2tog serve as your decreases in this pattern. You will reduce by one stitch each time you perform one of these stitches.
-When pattern calls to work in rows, be sure to ch1 and turn between each row. This ch does not count as a stitch unless otherwise noted.
-When pattern calls to work in rounds, work the round as instructed.
-The ankle can be continued for as many rounds as you want for a longer sock, just remember that adds yardage to the total you use. -The same goes for the foot of the sock, you can continue the repeat rounds for a longer sock!
