I designed The All Day Raglan jumper to be a simple oversized raglan jumper that introduces a new style to your knitting repertoire. The first jumper I ever knit was a raglan jumper and I feel like it was a great introduction into my life as a jumper knitter.

This listing is a knitted pattern and not a finished product. You will receive a digital PDF document upon your purchase.

The pattern is written with Australian terms but there are size conversions in the pattern.

Model is 181cm (5’11) and wears size M.
The length is adjustable and instructions can be found within the pattern. The design is intended to be oversized with 20cm (8”) of positive ease. If you want a tighter fitting garment then look at the “finished size” as an indicator of which size to select.

I have used Wool and the Gang for The All Day Raglan. This yarn is a super-wash merino which makes it extremely easy to care for and being an 10ply/Worsted it is a quick knit that sits between thick and thin. Almost the perfect thickness in my eyes for a year round knit.

Please remember that if you can’t source the yarn that is recommended then try to find a yarn with a similar tension gauge. The tension gauge is the most important part when ensuring your completed jumper is the same as what you see in the pictures.

The design is knit using stocking stitch and knit in panels from the bottom up. The panels are then sewn together to complete the garment. I tried to simplify the pattern as much as possible in order to make it an easy and enjoyable project that will hopefully help you to knit some more complex designs in the future.
