The Aphrodite Split Skirt is an intermediate beginner pattern that is made to measure for all sizes.

Materials
• 6.0mm crochet hook
• Weight 3 or less yarn, minimum of 240 – 400yrds
• Scissors
• Stitch Marker
• Tailors tape
• Tapestry needle

Measurement
Measure where you want skirt to sit, then subtract 3” from that number and you will have your measurement.

Abbreviations/Terminology (US)
• Ch – Chain
• FO – Fasten off
• Ftr – Foundation treble crochet
• R - Row
• Rep – Repeat
• Sl st – Slip stitch
• Sk – Skip (stitch)
• Sp - Space
• Tr – Treble crochet
• Qtr - Quadruple treble crochet

Yarn Weight: Although Weight 3 or less is Ideal, you can use any weight, but I find that lighter weight yarn is more flowy, and the skirt will become thicker and heavier the higher up you go in yarn weight. Be sure to adjust your hook size, you want the stitches to be loose, so I would go up between 1-3 hook sizes then what is recommended for your yarn.
