The Apollo Top
We choose to go to the moon… 50 years ago in 1969 the Apollo 11 crew blasted off from Florida on a four day voyage of adventure and discovery that ended with Neil Armstrong taking mans first steps on the Moon. I wasn’t alive then, but its always captured my imagination. It must have been such an exciting time. The world watching and waiting, holding its breath to see what mysteries the lunar surface held. Not to mention the terrific achievement of it all, not just for NASA but for all humankind. I love anything spacey and sciencey whether fact or fiction so of course I wanted merge my passions and celebrate this anniversary with crochet!
