The Ashby Beret is a simply cute slouchy hat featuring a polka-dot motif that is just irresistible. I love the easy fit and simple, striking design. It is a lovely blend of clean, modern simplicity, vintage appeal, and feminine flair.

-Toddler: 18-19” circumference
-Child: 20-21” circumference
-Adult: 22-23” circumference

Yarn:
Any worsted weight yarn in two colors. Yan suggestions included with the pattern.

Skill level:
Intermediate (DC, SC, HDC; popcorn stitch with detailed, step-by-step instructions, “two-color back and forth”, or “tapestry crochet” work, with detailed step-by-step instructions).
I would recommend this pattern for those with a bit of previous crochet experience, as it utilizes some very basic two-color back and forth, or tapestry crochet techniques. If you have some crochet experience, but have never tried two-color work, this would be a simple, fun pattern to begin with!
