This is a pdf pattern to crochet the Aviator princess (a set of instructions).
NOT the finished doll.
Please, respect our hard work: DO NOT distribute this pattern, sell it or translate it without our authorisation.
What will you find inside this pattern?
- The materials we used to make her (with yarn brand and colour codes)
- The story of the Aviator princess
- More than 90 pages filled with explanations, diagrams and step by step pictures which will guide you through the process of crocheting your own princess.
All clothes are completely removable and she can change outfit, transforming from Aviator to Princess.
The aviator outfit includes: helmet, goggles, jacket, t-shirt, pants with suspenders and boots.
The princess outfit includes: princess dress, crown and bunny slippers.
Of course, you’ll find inside her body pattern as well.
Dimensions
The finished doll should be around 23 cm tall. Of course, it depends on how you work and on the kind of crochet hook and yarn used.
Materials
As stated upon, you’ll find the complete list of materials, yarn brand and colour codes inside the pattern.
We used sport weight yarn (Paola: cotton / Chiara: mix) and a 2.0 crochet hook.
Each of us used only 1 yarn brand (all in the same size): you should get a good result as long as you’ll do the same and use an appropriate crochet hook.
Crochet level
This pattern is quite challenging: it requires focus, attention, and a passion for tiny details. For sure, it takes a trained hand to carry it out! However, the instructions are clear and carefully explained step by step: you’ll manage to follow them even if you’re not an expert… you’ll just need a few more attempts to get an optimal result
Time taken
We estimate this is a project should take you between 3 weeks and a months, working at a peace of at least a couple of hours per day.
Please, mention the authors (us) when posting online. On Instagram, specify “Pattern by @chiacrafts and @lapiccolapeoperosa” and use our hashtags #chiacraftspatterns and #lapaodolls.
