This Edwardian inspired necktie combines a new and antique pattern: while the tie shape and construction are created for the modern knitter, the stitch pattern comes from a circa 1900 French pattern book!
The Avonlea Necktie is a gender-inclusive pattern and comes in two different size lengths. The brown version is a wider and shorter tie that should hit most folks slightly above the natural waist, and the golden full length version is longer with gradual increases. While both ties were fashioned after many a photos of Edwardian ladies in their smart-looking shirtwaists and ties, the Avonlea Necktie works great with a 1920s, 30s, 40s, or even 1950s inspired look!

Both versions of the necktie are available on Patreon! Come join in the fun and discover tons of vintage inspired patterns, lectures, extra help, and a community of wonderful vintage-loving knitters! ♥
