The Axis Cowl allows you to build up your own cowl by adding panels on the Y and X Axis. Each panel has shaped ribbing to keep it close to your chin and a slip stitch swirl up the side.

A perfect entry level piece for those looking to take on cables or twisted stitch patterns.

The gauge isn’t essential, it’s more important to get the fabric density that you’re after. Thick enough for the ribbing to hold against your neck (keeping out those gusts of wind!) but supple enough to feel comfy.

Although the cowl is designed to show off Donegal nep yarn it isn’t required. I’d recommend any odd ends of skeins that are too beautiful to not use.
