I had been promising a friend of mine a scarf that looked like a strip of bacon (called “streaky bacon” by those in the UK) for awhile, and this year I finally managed to sit down and create one. (January 2016)

This scarf is knitted horizontally in garter stitch on size 8US (5.0mm) needles.

You’ll need about 200 yards of worsted weight in three different colors - dark red/burgundy/rust, natural/white/cream, and plain red - for a total of 600 yards.

Gauge is not critical.
