A sweet little purse just big enough to fit your favorite essentials. The bag is knitted flat with a combination of stockinette and linen stitch - most of it is knitted seamlessly by picking up stitches, but the four corner edges are seamed at the end. The fold-over top gives you the perfect blank canvas for duplicate stitch embroidery, and the bag includes 4 embroidery color charts (cherries, sparkles, heart, star) plus a blank chart to plan your own!

Skil level: Beginner-friendly

Gauge: 16st, 24 rows in 4” x 4” (10 cm x 10 cm) in stockinette stitch

Needles: US 7 / 4.5mm knitting needles (or whatever size you need to reach gauge)

Suggested yarn: Lily Sugar ‘n’ Cream yarn (100% cotton worsted yarn) - feel free to substitute for another yarn that meets gauge! I recommend something machine washable for an everyday item like this.
