This cowl is inspired by one of the most famous paintings called “The Balcony”. A lady is standing on a balcony and her shawl is hanging over the railing. The cowl has picked up the pattern and draping of her shawl.
The cowl is knitted in the round in stranded knitting and begins and ends with tubular cast on and tubular bind off. The tubulars give your cowl thicker and rounded edges that adds on a luxurious feel to it, just as expected during the roaring twenties.
