Where knitting meets balloon sculpture… this pattern is a fun challenge for all knitting novices. Inspired by Jeff Koons iconic 1993 contemporary art sculptures ‘Balloon Dog’, this piece is knit in the round to form a long balloon shape which resembles sausages. Then as if filled with air the ‘balloon’ is twisted into shape and sewn in place.

Knit in one piece in the round, and stuffed as you go The Balloon Dog is a fun project that’s sure to turn people’s eyes!
