Chrocheted bag made from scrap yarn!

Quick project summary:
The whole bag is worked holding two strands together.
Work it as a long rectangle, crochet a single-crochet border along both short ends, then fold the rectangle in half and crochet the sides together.

Size:
Finished bag measures approximately 46 x 40 cm without handles.

Yarn Amount:
You’ll need about 450 g of cotton yarn (80–100 m / 50 g),
or you can hold several thinner strands together.

Hook:
4.5 mm crochet hook.
You’ll also need scissors, a tape measure, and a yarn needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge:
About 15 sc x 22 rows = 10 cm.

You can either buy handles or twist your own like I did.
On my Instagram profile (@lyserendesign), you can find a reel showing how I made and attached the handles.
It’s also explained and shown in the highlight “The Beachy Bag” (in English) at my Instagram profile.
