The Beachy Dress
Brief Overview / Tips:
The dress is knitted from the top down.
It has the same circumference from the underarms all the way to the hem.
First, the front and back are worked separately, back and forth in rows, before all stitches are joined on the same needle and worked in the round.
The entire dress is worked in a lace pattern, with ribbing around the neckline and armholes.
Finally, fringes are attached along the bottom edge of the dress.

Garment Measurements:
This is a garment where standard measurements don’t quite apply. It is very stretchy and adapts to the shape of your body. The measurements below are taken with the garment laid flat. When worn, you can expect an additional 5–10 cm of stretch.
Bust circumference approx.: (70–75) 80–85 (90–95) 105–110 (110–115) 115–120 cm.
Total length measured from shoulder approx.: 120 (135) 140 (140) 145 (145) cm, or desired length. Measurements include fringes.
The model in the photos is wearing size 2, usually wears size M, and is 168 cm tall.
I recommend approximately 5 cm of negative ease, or a fit close to your actual bust circumference.
Yarn Requirements:
The dress is knitted in Pickles Økologisk Bomull (90 m/50 g) from Pickles.no.
Pickles Økologisk Bomull: 300 (350) 400 (450) 500 (550) g.
Remember to allow for extra yarn if you wish to make the dress longer.
Suggested Needles:
6 mm circular needle, 60 cm.
5 mm circular needle, 40 cm, or use the magic loop technique for ribbing.
Medium-sized crochet hook for attaching fringes.
Gauge:
Lace pattern: 12 sts × 20 rows = 10 × 10 cm.
Ribbing: 15 sts = 10 cm.
