Pattern description from Stitch ‘N Bitch Nation: “I love knitting with beads and am always looking for new ways to combine beads and yarn. I took a class at Arnhild Hillesland’s knitting studio in 2001 and learned about traditional Norwegian pulse warmers (more commonly known as wrist warmers). I made a pair to warm my hands in my very cold office (they really do work!), then decided my sixteen-year-old niece would love a pair. After seeing the Skully sweater in Stitch ‘N Bitch, I knew the combination of girly pearls and edgy skulls would be perfect for her. I’ve also included an alternative broken heart design for the sixteen-year-old in all of us.”
