The Bean-Cake Cardi is a Plus-Size blanket-style cardigan, worked in a side to side manner (so the stripes run vertically). Its done with a lofty worsted weight yarn and a large hook, making it a fast and easy project if you’ve never made clothing before.

Please note that exact gauge is not necessary – the pattern is designed with a lot of positive ease, so being too small or too large won’t affect the overall look. Rather than a gauge swatch, its recommended to measure the cardigan as it’s stitched, and notes are included throughout the pattern where measurements are needed
