Quick price update! After offering this pattern for free for several years, I have decided to add a price of $4.00 USD to the pattern as I learn to value my work. Thank you for everyone’s support of this pattern!

The Beanie is the perfect everyday hat, inspired by the classic sewn jersey beanie - with 3 yarn options, so you can do you! Choose from:

  • 1 strand sock or fingering + 2 strands mohair silk OR
  • 1 strand DK OR
  • 3 strands mohair silk to make something that suits your stash and cozy hat dreams!

This pattern features a doubled, folded brim for optimum coziness and warmth, and measures 20” around when finished, to fit most adults. If you desire a slightly larger hat, I recommend going up 1 needle size. If you desire a slightly tighter hat, I recommend going down 1 needle size. The options are endless!

Gauge has been provided for stitches, but not for rows - since this pattern provides measurement checkpoints, you can simply knit to the specified measurement or the heights you desire.
