If you think spring is the bee’s knees, this pattern is for you!

This cute bee would like to join you for your next granny square adventure, and it uses Made by Lisek’s (free!) empty granny square as the background square. The bee itself is constructed amigurumi-style and can be made as the classic yellow and black or brown honey bee, or any other colour.

Any yarn will work, just select a hook at the lower end of the recommended hook sizes, so the stuffing doesn’t poke through the bee. You don’t even need toy stuffing, if you are like me and collect all your yarn cuttings - just in case… Well, this can be the case!

I have given my bee googly eyes, because I’m not that good at embroidering features and I don’t usually use safety eyes, but if you do, this is a great project to add them.

Happy crafting!

EDIT: I have offered this pattern for free while I was finishing up some paperwork and I can’t believe how many people downloaded it in the last couple of days! Thank you so much!
