As Elle Woods’ friend, Serena, says in the 2001 Movie, Legally Blonde, “I got bangs!”. I had a fringe/bangs cut in this year and as the weather is getting colder I have realised my beloved knitted hats squash the bounce right out of them. So in true Elle-Woods-Style I decided to come up with my own solution! I designed this earwarmer headband to keep my hair neat and my ears warm. Stylish yet practical! Elle would be proud!
Knit up in a specially dyed beautiful colourway by Jo at Moonlight Fibre called “Delta Nu”! Get yours from her Etsy Shop!

Other Materials
-6 mm (US Size 10) 80cm circular needle or 6mm DPNs.
-Cable needle
-Stitch Marker to mark beginning or round. (personal preference)
-Scissors
-Measuring tape
-Tapestry needle

Pattern Notes :
-This headband is very stretchy and forgiving. The stretchiness opens out the pattern when wearing.
-This headband is knitted in the round so there are no seams. I used the “magic loop” method with circular needles to create the samples but you may use any method you prefer for knitting in the round.
-Blocking will help fix your stitches in place. Make sure not to stretch your headband widthways while blocking as it will be too big and lose it’s stretch and elasticity.
