The Betty Beanie is a super quick versatile Beanie that can be made in a variety of chunky yarns. I named this Beanie after a dear friend who happens to be my Step mom’s best friend. She was also my school counselor as a child so I’ve known her all my life and now we are good friends. This pattern is worked in terms of measurements and is worked from the brim up;
Working in multiples of two rows on the brim you can adjust the size of your beanie
You will need approximately 109 yds for the typical adult size beanie. The hook size will be one size smaller than is recommended on the label to get that subtle texture needed going
I recommend using bulky 5(7.0mm hook), or super bulky 6 (8.0mm Hook) for The Betty Beanie

Sizing
This pattern is made approximately 3” smaller than the intended wearer’s head, for adult sizes; then the difference grows smaller
