This shawl is constructed in three stages. The first stage is making two identical mini shawls in the striped pattern repeat. The second is sewing these two halves together using the technique illustrated and then finally picking up stitches and knitting along the left and right edging to create a matching striped border.

Optional sizing guidelines available in the pattern - in case you’d like to make a small summer cape version or a big snuggly winter version.

Knitted using 2 contrasting colours - 150 (200)g / 360 (480)m DK weight yarn of each.

Tools you’ll need:
4mm / US size 6 circular needles 60cm/24” and 100cm/39”.

Blunt end needle/ darning needle.

2 x stitch markers.
