Feb 4, 2022 Note: This design is getting a makeover! After a few years my design style has developed further and I’m revisiting this design so that I can reformat the file and make the instructions more clear, as well as tweak the pattern slightly to make it better :) It will be released soon, with a discount available!

This month we are celebrating ten years of The Plucky Knitter – a beautiful collection of luxury yarn blends in every texture and quality imaginable. Many of us are completely smitten with this brand, and it’s only made better by the outstanding customer service provided by Sarah, Hayley, and everyone else who works so hard to bring us these yarns and designs. We are all grateful for what you do.

This hat is knit from the bottom up, and is made to be a little longer so that the back is weighed down by a pompom. If desired, you can take away one pattern repeat to make it more form-fitting. The cable pattern is both written and charted. The body is made in one color, but adding a pompom in a CC gives it a real pop!

Here is a link to the project page for the sample.
