This is my first pattern; many thinks to all those who helped me test it out! The cables are mostly 2x2s, so while some parts of the hat might look a little complicated, this is actually quite an easy pattern to work up. :)

It comes in one size, 21 inches around, though please feel free to play with needle sizes if need be!

You’ll should only need one skein of yarn; acrylic is totally fine! I would recommend against cotton, or similar yarns, though, as those tend not to hold cables as well. The actual amount is dependent on how loose/tight you do your cables.

I’d recommend doing it in a solid color, just to help keep the cables popping out, visually, but please feel free to go wild!

While this hat was originally based on the Bureau of Balance logo from the podcast, The Adventure Zone, this pattern is a piece of transformative work covered under fair use.
