The Bookworm
I’ve been an avid reader all my life and was very often called a bookworm growing up.
The Book Worm has been on my list ’to do’ for many, many years. I’m so glad he’s finally here. He may be small, but he’s packed full of character and hides a chocolate orange inside his belly beautifully. Or if you prefer you can buy a clear 7cm fillable bauble and stuff it full of sweets/candys, a lottery ticket or any small gifts you can think of to make him truly unique. He can be easily turned into a softie by using the base pattern included in the pattern. He’s the perfect size for little hands to cuddle. He would be ideal to sit on a book shelf too. Reading all the books of course!
He is knitted flat using 3mm straight needles and DK yarn. His arms and antennas are made using the iCord method. Instructions are included in the pattern.
I hope you’ll enjoy knitting him as much as I have.
