The Boy-O Blanket
The Boy-O Blanket was inspired by my own son and how he loved to snuggle up at the end of a fun and busy day. This thick, cozy, blanket will be the must have at grandma’s sleepover, family movie night and long road trips. This blanket will stand up to play time. A nice bonus is that this blanket looks great on both sides and is fully reversible. The trinity stitch is highlighted and results in a dense blanket that has very few holes for fingers to get caught up in.
The pattern works up to a size of 38” x 36” and you can easily make this larger or smaller. I use a medium weight #4 yarn and this looks lovely in a cotton blend or acrylic. This pattern looks great worked up with a solid colour or colour changing yarn.
You will need a hook sized according to the yarn you choose and your tension, a tapestry needle and scissors. The pattern includes detailed instructions with full colour photos. This pattern is designed for adventurous beginners or intermediate crocheters.
