The Briar Rose Pattern is knit using all knits & purls, no fancy stitches & no shaping. It can be knit with
any weight of yarn, using the needle size that is suggested for the yarn or that will make the fabric you’re
most happy with. The outer border is knit in moss stitch, & the images are knit in garter. The pattern is
knit flat (but will have an in the round & steeked version soon.) I used a crochet cast on, that way the
slip stitch border matches the top & bottom, but you are welcome to use whichever cast on you like best.
I added a crochet shell stitch border to mine but it’s up to you & your preference.

It is suggested to knit this with a solid colored yarn.
