the bunny scarf
Hello!! This is my pattern for a 3D bunny scarf inspired by TaniaSh’s design on Etsy. This pattern is extremely forgiving in terms of size, yarn type, and weight, and I have written it to be very beginner-friendly as well because I’m a beginner too <3
A perfect gift for the funky, whimsical people in your life or to keep for yourself!
Video guide (doesn’t include the exact pattern) up now: https://youtu.be/nOVamag6LHM
YARN: I used about 1.2 skeins of the Snowbaby Wool Acrylic Blend yarn on Amazon (100g/207yds per skein). You can use any worsted-weight yarn. I prefer one with a brushed/fuzzy texture to get a nice halo, but that’s just personal preference.
NEEDLES: US 10/6mm knitting needles, preferably circular needles. This creates a somewhat loose knit, which I prefer to get a fluffier look.
SIZING AND GAUGE: The finished product is 56 in long and 4 in wide. 28 stitches x 35 rows in double stockinette creates a 4 in by 4 in square. It is one size fits all, but size adjustments can easily be made if desired (directions included in pattern).
GENERAL NOTES: A portion of this pattern is a modified version of a pattern by Stricknity, the free video tutorial for which I have linked in the PDF. The rest is designed by me.
