Inspired by candy canes and freshly-pulled salt water taffy, The Candy Shoppe Shawl is designed to experiment with color and uses two 100g skeins (200 yards each) of contrasting DK or Worsted weight yarn.

Knit tip-to-tip in garter stitch with a built-in i-cord edge, it is an easy, beginner-friendly shawl pattern that is fun for new knitters and experienced knitters alike.

The joy of this pattern is in experimenting with color combinations – it is designed to highlight the unique characteristics of handspun yarn, hand-dyed/indie dyed yarn, and dyed-in-the-wool/marled yarn from your favorite dyers and local mills.
