The Catelyn Cowl is a cozy, Tunisian Crochet pattern that is the perfect layering piece. This cowl uses approximately 3 skeins of DK weight yarn and fades them together in the most beautiful way. There is also a ribbed collar to help create that cozy look.

For this pattern, you will need the following:

3 different colors of DK (CYC 3) weight yarn
C1 - 246 yards
C2 - 175 yards
C3 - 200 yards
6.5 mm (US ) Tunisian crochet hook with 16” to 22” cable and stopper (or hook to achieve gauge)
Tapestry needle
Gram scale
Scissors
6 Stitch markers
Blocking supplies

Yarn Notes: For this pattern, I used yarn from Montana Crochet in her Cozy DK base (100% superwash Merino, 246 yd/100 g). I used the colorways Wildling (C1), Direwolf (C2) and Kingslayer (C3).

This pattern can be adapted to shorter yardages, Start with the collar, then move to page 13 of the pattern if you have less than 246 yards to start with.
