The CEDAR LAKE Beanie!

This new beanie design is worked from the top down, with stitches that exaggerate horizontal AND vertical interest, bringing lots of fun texture!

You’ll need a size 6 bulky yarn and an 8 mm hook. This pattern was written and tested with the aforementioned materials, but it’s easily adapted to a bulky size 5 yarn! Depending on your skill level, you could make this beanie in about 60 minutes! :smile:

Re-Spun by Lion Brand Yarn is a squishy soft recycled acrylic yarn and is perfect for this beanie. Not too stiff at all, and wears nicely! But feel free to find something similar. www.yarnsub.com is a wonderful resource!

Depending on your skill level, once you get the stitches down, this beanie should take you about 1 hour to complete. Grab a pom (or not!) and a tag; you’ve got the perfect beanie to stock up your shops and markets with!
