When Jen from Knits4Comfort first presented the idea of a shawl celebrating her fifth year of business it reminded me of how many events in our lives need to be celebrated . The Celebration Shawl features 5 different textures that each symbolize one of the years that knits4comfort has been in business.

Supplies:
Two full Skeins of knit4comfort shown in Koi
One US size 6 needle circular needle.
Yarn needle to weave in ends
Gauge: 5 stitches per inch (this is not important but will effect size and yardage needed)
Stitches needed:
Knit (K) Purl (P)
Yarn Over (YO)
Knit in front and back (KFB)
KYOK increase or “k1, yo, k1 into the same stitch”
DS (Dropped Stitch) Double yarnover in one stitch
