The Charis dress is a made to measure, size inclusive pattern. This means you take your own measurements as instructed before starting. This means the pattern can be made for any size and age.
The pattern is written in English only using US terminology, it is an intermediate design, but I think it will also be suitable for advanced beginners as long as you know fpdc and bpdc stitches. There are detailed steps and photos throughout each guiding you along.
You will need any type of 8ply (light worsted or DK) cotton yarn; however, you are welcome to use other fibers too. You will also need a range of hooks for decreasing and increasing throughout, 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm, 5mm.
I used roughly 1200m of yarn for the sample size (UK 8).
