The Cobbled Road Blanket
The Cobbled Road Blanket is made using the Cobble stitch. This is an easy 1 row repeating pattern that looks like little wedges, so the rows interlock together.
The blanket is made with 3 different colours of yarn that changes every row. The yarn can be carried up the side so you don’t have to cut off until you reach the top - that means no silly amount of ends to weave in later.
The pattern is available for free on my blog here or the ad free pdf can be purchased here on Ravelry.
I used 3 different 4ply yarn cakes to make the blanket and I chose ombre cakes so that the colours subtly change as you work your way up the rows. This makes the blanket a different set of colours at the top than what you started with at the bottom.
To make the Cobbled Road Blanket you will need:
- 3 x 4ply ombre yarn cakes - 1000m of yarn each
- 4mm hook
- Needle to weave in your ends
The pattern would suit a beginner and includes pictures to show how each step is made.
The finished dimensions are 140 x 80cm.
The pattern you are purchasing is a digital download and not a physical copy.
You are permitted to sell your finished items made from this pattern, but I would appreciate being credited with designed by Froggity Frog in your listings.
