Introduction
This series is designed to celebrate the comet Tchouri on which the little Philae landed before Christmas. When this astonishing event occurred I was designing this four hats series. I soon decided to name each hat with a comet name: Biela’s comet, Vaisala’s comet, Halley’s comet and Olbers’ comet. Beginning with the same cast on each one has its own brim, its own body pattern and its own crown. In reality we offer four variations of the same basic pattern worked in the round from brim to top. So, you may easily design and work your own combination of each particular section (brim, body or crown) to create your very own hat. When you buy this pattern you buy in fact more than four hat designs!

Sizes and finished measurements
Hats have been designed to have about 2 cm (1”) of negative ease. If you wish a slouchier hat choose a bigger size. If you wish a fitter hat choose a smaller size.
