Designed by Jo Cottle as Acorn Street Shop’s featured knit pattern for the 2026 Puget Sound LYS Tour.

The Cove is a triangular shawl inspired by the quiet intimacy of a coastal cove. Each section reflects the interaction between sand, water, and tide, with lace and texture mimicking the movement and stillness of water. The shawl guides you along a shoreline journey, beginning with bare sand, trickling freshwater, and building to the drama of swirling tidal waters. Color changes accentuate the transition from freshwater rivulets to ocean tides.
